Tony Parker will miss about a month with a grade 2 left ankle sprain. Parker suffered the injury in the third quarter of Friday night's Spurs-Kings game.
Parker finished with 13 points and seven assists.
It's a huge blow for San Antonio. Parker was having an MVP-caliber season, averaging 21 points, 7.6 assists, 3.1 rebounds and .9 steals. Expect boosts for Manu Ginobili, Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green.
The injuries are piling up for the Spurs. Forward Boris Diaw is out Sunday with a lower back strain. Guard Gary Neal (tightness, left calf) and forward Stephen Jackson (sprained right ankle) are doubtful to play.
