Carmelo Anthony injures knee, won't return; no tests scheduled

Carmelo Anthony left Monday's game with a knee injury, and he won't return.

ESPN New York reported that Anthony tripped without contact near midcourt with about 6:41 left in the second quarter. Anthony headed to the locker room to get checked out.

Knicks sideline reporter Tina Cervasio tweeted that Anthony won't undergo any tests but will be reevaluated Tuesday in Detroit.
