Arron Afflalo's season is over. The Orlando Magic shooting guard injured his right hamstring Friday night, and he'll miss the team's last 12 games of the season, according to beat writer Josh Robbins.
Afflalo will be treated with rest and physical therapy. In 64 games, Afflalo averaged 16.5 points (shooting 43.9 percent from the field and 85.7 from the line), 1.13 3-pointers, 3.7 rebounds, 3.2 assists, .6 steals and .2 blocks while playing 36 minutes.
The guy to own is Maurice Harkless. The rookie was already starting at small forward. Friday night he exploded for 25 points (11-of-18 shooting), two 3-pointers, nine rebounds, an assist, four steals and four blocks. In his last five games, Harkless is averaging 16.2 points, 1.4 3-pointers, 6.8 rebounds, .4 assists, 3.8 steals and 1.4 blocks.
Beno Udrih is also in for an increased role. In 15 games since getting traded to the Magic, Udrih is averaging 8 points, .33 3-pointers, 1.5 rebounds, 4.9 assists, .7 steals.
