Scary Brock Lesnar showed up on Raw, and F5ed both of the New Age Outlaws into oblivion. Oh Road Dogg and Billy Gunn didn't know there'd be retribution for the things they said in TNA? They shoulda called somebody.
The Next Big Thing went maimed both D-Generation X members, and then accepted Triple H's challenge for WrestleMania ... on one condition: Triple H signs a contract for the match and then lets Lesnar pick the stipulation. What's the stip? MMA rules? Hell in a Cell? Triple H retires if he loses? Brock gets ownership of WWE? It's not clear yet what Lesnar wants -- other than to hurt people.
This worked really well from the moment Lesnar's music hit and Cody Rhodes looked terrified (Team Rhodes Scholars were wrestling the Outlaws but bailed when Brock showed). Demolishing the Outlaws didn't hurt anyone. They're a nostalgia act at this point, and that works only for a few weeks before it gets old. So Lesnar gets to beat up Triple H's "friends."
Lesnar as the maniac killing machine is so perfect. He lives the role (just look at his face in the photo). And Paul Heyman as his mouthpiece (or anyone's) never fails. He's the smug, sleazy promoter who knows that Triple H wants this fight, and he can give it to him -- as long as it's on their terms.
