Kyrie Irving returned to action Monday in the Cavs' 102-97 loss to the Knicks.
Irving scored 22 points on 9-of-20 shooting with two threes, five rebounds, six assists and a steal in 36 minutes. Uncle Drew looks like he's ready to roll. Get him in your lineups.
The Cavs were shorthanded without rookies Dion Waiters and Tyler Zeller, both out due to illness.
Ex-Grizzly Marreese Speights started at center and scored a game-high 23 points (10-of-14 shooting) with eight rebounds and a steal in 32 minutes.
Wayne Ellington started at shooting guard, but managed just seven points (2-of-7 shooting) with a three and two rebounds in 27 minutes.
Ellington had flourished in a reserve role, averaging 9.6 points, 1.5 3-pointers, 2.4 rebounds, 1.3 assists and .8 steals in 21.8 minutes since coming to Cleveland in a trade from Memphis.
