Former Toronto Raptor Ed Davis came off the bench to double-double with 10 points (5-of-6 shooting) and 10 rebounds to go with two steals and three blocks in 24 minutes. As we witnessed in T-Dot, Davis can produce when given minutes. That's something he hasn't gotten in Memphis, playing 12 games and averaging 4 points, 1.9 rebounds and a block in 9.9 minutes.
Z-Bo's ankle is swollen, and he's considered day-to-day, according to Grizzlies beat writer Ronald Tillery. The Grizz don't play again until Wedensday, so he has a few days to get right. If he's not good to go, I like Davis' potential.
Darrell Arthur got the start but left after a hard fall and never returned. The ex-Jayhawk finished with seven points and two rebounds. Tillery reported that Arthur had a headache and stiff neck but no concussion. He'll be checked out again when the team returns to Memphis.
Darrell Arthur won't return for 2nd half after nasty fall in 2Q. DA has headache, stiff neck but no concussion. Will be checked again in MEM
