The extent of Duncan's injuries isn't known. The Spurs did call the injury a sprain. This is a blow to the Spurs as Duncan was making his return from an ankle injury.
Duncan went down after Wizards forward Martell Webster rolled into his legs. He was down on the court for several minutes clutching his knee. The Big Fundamental limped to the locker room with the help of two teammates. He didn't return.
Duncan played 14 minutes. His night ended with eight point, five rebounds, two assists and a block.
Tim Duncan suffered a sprained right ankle and a sprained left knee. He will not return to tonight's game.
