Rob Schamberger needs your help to take his wrestling champions paintings on tour
Posted on 19:14 by mohit
Artist Rob Schamberger's latest Kickstarter project -- to take his paintings of wrestling champions on tour -- is fully funded. But if you still want to give, there's about 24 hours left to do so and get a little (or big) something to display on your coffee table or hang on your wall.
Schamberger is on a quest to paint every world champion in wrestling history, and he could be bringing some of his paintings to a city near you in March.
March 22, he'll be at Challengers Comics in Chicago, Illinois. March 23, he's headed to the Heroes & Legends show in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he'll debut portraits of Bret Hart and Tatanka, both of whom are scheduled to be at the show.
April 5-7, he'll be showing at WrestleCon in Secaucus, New Jersey, for Wrestlemania week. He'll unveil paintings of Lex Luger, Tommy Dreamer, the Iron Sheik and Bruno Sammartino. Those guys are slated to be at the show.
April 15-17, he'll crisscross the country and head to the Cauliflower Alley Club Reunion in Las Vegas, Nevada. He'll show portraits of Ivan Koloff and Percy Pringle/ Paul Bearer.
The tour wraps up May 4 at Metro Pro Wrestling in Kansas City, Kansas, with the debut of Randy Orton and Kane.
Look up Schamberger's work. If you're a wrestling fan, you definitely should.
