ESPN's Chris Broussard reported that Gordon is "available," but unlikely to be moved because other clubs are "concerned about EG's health going forward."
Yahoo Sports' Marc Spears reported that the
Gordon was previously rumored to have wanted to return to his home state of Indiana. And a deal for Danny Granger would work financially but that report by Sam Amico acknowledge that the Pacers and Hornets hadn't even discussed a move.
In the offseason, Gordon signed an offer sheet with the Phoenix Suns. He talked about his heart not being in New Orleans. It seems like a break with the Hornets/Pelicans is inevitable. Unloading the oft-injured guard might not be a bad move for NOLA if the return is right.
