Memphis Grizzlies guard Tony Allen is on a tear. The veteran guard made 8-of-12 shots for 19 points, including a three. His box score looked great with eight rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block. The guy is a lock-down defender, so pick him up for steals and across the board stats.
In a February 10 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, Allen stole four balls to go with eight points, five boards and three assists. And two nights before that, he lit up the Golden State Warriors for 17 points (7-of-8 shooting). He's owned in 33 percent of Yahoo leagues.
Meanwhile, Jerryd Bayless has gone cold. In 24 minutes, he managed just six points (2-of-7 shots), a three, a rebound and three assists. He played just 19 minutes two nights ago and managed just seven points. He's 27 percent owned and that's likely to drop after these duds.
