The deal makes sense for Phoenix, but not Utah. The Jazz are reportedly more inclined to keep Jefferson than Paul Millsap. And the franchise seems to favor building around Hayward, who is nursing a sprained shoulder.
Phoenix appears determined to move Dudley before the February 21 deadline. His name has come up in rumored deals with multiple teams, notably Iman Shumpert of the New York Knicks.
