Michael Kidd-Gilchrist was stretchered out of Saturday's game after getting accidentally kneed in the back of the head by a teammate.
Bobcats beat writer Rick Bonnell reported that the rookie suffered concussion but no other head or neck injuries.
It's fair to assume that MKG is going to miss several games. The NBA has a concussion protocol that the rook will have to pass before he can return to the court.
Bonnell expect Jeff Taylor to start in his absence.
