Luke Ridnour's name has been floated on the trade block, and one potential destination for the Minnesota Timberwolves' point guard is the Utah Jazz.
NBA reporter Chris Sheridan reported that Ridnour is on the block due to Ricky Rubio rounding back into form and the Wolves' glut of guards (J.J. Barea).
The Utah Jazz are interested, but a swap of Ridnour for Alec Burks has been shot down.
Utah may have to give up a first-round pick and Raja Bell's expiring contract to get Ridnour, ESPN 1500 reported.
Rindour would get new life in Utah, which needs a point guard due to Mo Williams' thumb injury. He'd be an upgrade over Jamaal Tinsley.
In 46 games this season, Ridnour is averaging 11.8 points, .89 3-pointers, 2.8 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.2 steals and .2 blocks in 30.7 minutes.
