The Utah Jazz's trade situation with Al Jefferson and Paul Millsap remains fluid.
A few months ago, ESPN's Chad Ford speculated that the Jazz were more likely to trade Jefferson than Millsap. Then ESPN's Marc Stein reported that Millsap could be the one to go.
And now comes today's report from Chris Sheridan: "The San Antonio Spurs are the front-runners to land Al Jefferson in a trade with the Utah Jazz – and they are frontrunners like Secretariat was in the 1973 Belmont Stakes."
Who would the Jazz want in return?
First, a point guard. Either Patty Mills or Nando de Colo. Maybe a European player like Erazem Lorbek. And you can't get a star like Jefferson without giving up a producer. Say, Tiago Splitter. Stephen Jackson could also be a throw in.
