Jerryd Bayless came off the bench Wednesday, but lit up the Phoenix Suns for 29 points in the loss. Bayless played 29 minutes and made the most of them, knocking down three 3-pointers, grabbing two boards, dishing two assists and snagging a steal.
I've been on the Bayless bandwagon since the Grizzlies traded away Josh Selby and Wayne Ellington. The minutes are there for the young guard, and he's doing damage. He's averaging 16 points, 4.4 rebounds, 6 assists and 1.2 steals in his last five games.
Bayless owned in 24 percent of leagues, and I can see him holding onto his value the rest of the season.
Tayshaun Prince slid into the starting lineup for a solid line: 11 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals in 37 minutes. He's owned in 40 percent of leagues, and a solid yet unspectacular play.
