Andre Drummond suffers back injury, doesn't return

Andre Drummond played just eight minutes in the Pistons' loss to the New York Knicks on Monday. And it wasn't because the rookie was getting jerked around by coach Lawrence Frank.

Drummond left the game with a sore back, Pistons beat writer Keith Langlois reported and didn't return. No word on the severity. The ex-UConn Huskie made just 1-of-6 shots and missed both of his free throws to end the night with two points, five rebounds, a steal and a block.

UPDATE: Langlois reports that Drummond says "he'll be good to go Wednesday."
