Kobe Bryant confronts Dwight Howard in 'loud' team meeting, report says

The Los Angeles Lakers had it out for real Wednesday, according to the Los Angeles Times, with Kobe Bryant asking Dwight Howard if he has a problem playing with the Mamba.

A team meeting before Wednesday's shootaround also featured Lakers coach Mike D'Antoni reportedly saying he was tired of reading stories about players questioning his offense and complaining about a lack of touches. He told them to worry about playing defense.

Howard later apologized for demanding more touches. This comes after D12 was asking reporters to "look at the stat sheet" after only getting five shots in a loss to the Chicago Bulls on Monday.

"That was immature," Howard told reporters. "I shouldn't have done it. I've just got to go out there and dominate defensively and make it tough for teams. I just have to get back to doing that and not worry about the offense."

Sounds like the Lakers have hit the reset button on the season. Can they hold it together? 

These reports come a day after reports that the Brooklyn Nets are still interested in pursuing Howard, even proposing a three-team deal involving Brook Lopez and Minnesota's Kevin Love.
