Memphis Grizzlies reserves Jerryd Bayless and Tony Wroten played well in extended time off the bench Friday night in a blowout 101-77 win over the Brooklyn Nets.
Bayless neared a triple double with 11 points, seven rebounds and eight assists. He added a steal and played 30 minutes. This was easily his best game since October.
Wroten scored a career-high 11 points to go with four rebounds and two assists in 23 minutes. The rookie hasn't done much, playing in only nine games this season.
This could be an anomaly since this was a blowout. But it's worth watching how they respond with Wayne Ellington and Josh Selby out of the rotation.
Darrell Arthur's big night appears to be a fluke. In 20 minutes, he scored six points, grabbed five rebounds and blocked a shot. Leave him alone.
