Kurt Angle plans to wrestle two more years in TNA before a retirement tour ... in WWE?

Wrestlers are always talking about hanging up their boots, so take this for what it's worth. Kurt Angle told Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Radio that he's going to work two more years for TNA and then go on a one year retirement tour.

The Olympic gold medalist told the insiders:

"I've got two more years left at Impact Wrestling and then I'm going to have a retirement year and that's going to be it. I think I'll be done and once I retire, you're not going to see me back in a ring again, that's for sure. I'm not going to be a guy that retires and keeps coming back. When I'm gone, I'm gone. Same thing as amateur wrestling; when I won the world championships in Olympics, I left and I never went back. Same for pro."

A couple of things here. One, Angle did try to make an Olympic comeback in 2012 but had to pull out due to a knee injury. So he didn't go away forever. Two, a couple of years in TNA and then another year on a retirement tour? I really doubt Angle is talking about an indie tour, especially when he says he expected to get paid well when he considered going into MMA. So that leaves one place: WWE.

Could he come back on a deal similar to Brock Lesnar or The Undertaker? No one said as much, but I really hope so. Another run with Angle wrestling guys like CM Punk and John Cena could be a lot of fun. But he really shouldn't take on a full WWE scheduled.
