ESPN's Marc Stein is the latest to report the C's interest in the Orlando Magic shooting guard. Via Twitter:
Hearing Celts, even before season-worst 7-for-32 shooting from 15+ feet in NYK loss, have ramped up their interest in Magic's J.J. Redick

Size obviously Celts' priority if they do deal before Feb. 21 trade deadline but word is they hope to work way into Redick mix if they can

Pro Basketball Talk points out that the shamrocks need help on the front line first and a shooter second. There's also the issue of who the Celts would be sending out, which isn't clear (PBT says sending Jared Sullinger doesn't help since that deal weakens the front line).
David Baumann tweeted over the weekend : "As Feb. 21 #NBA trade deadline looms, sources tell me the Boston Celtics covet Orlando Magic SG J.J. Redick"
In 41 games, Redick is averaging 14.9 points, 2.3 rebounds, 4.4 assists, .5 steals, .1 blocks and 2.34 3-pointers made. The Magic moved the ex-Dukie into the starting lineup two games ago.
