Derrick Williams posted his third double-double of the year Friday. Minnesota's sophomore forward led the Wolves with 18 points and 11 rebounds in a 114-101 loss to the Washington Wizards.
Williams played 31 minutes and hit just 6-of-17 shots and 5-of-8 free throws. He finished with a 3-pointer, an assist and a steal.
Williams hasn't shot well this season. In 13 games as a starter, Williams has hit just 36.8 percent of his shots from the field. He is averaging 10.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, .8 assists, .4 steals and .8 blocks in 25.8 minutes. He's also making 83.3 percent of his free throws. He's a worth a look in all leagues as long as he's starting (he's 20 percent owned in Yahoo leagues).
Mickael Gelabale scored 15 points (7-10 FG, 1-2 FT) to go with seven rebounds, an assist and a steal in 26 minutes. The swingman is on a 10-day contract with the Wolves and has played OK -- but not good enough to be picked up in all but the deepest of fantasy leagues. If you need reassurance to stay away from Gelabale, his NBA.com profile page features him in a Sonics jersey.
