Eric Bledsoe once again drew fill-in duty for Chris Paul.
After a bad game Monday (4 points on 1-for-7 shooting), CP3 missed Tuesday night's loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder with his nagging kneecap injury. UPDATE: There's no timetable for Paul's return. "We'll hold him out and see how he feels the next couple of days," Clippers coach Vinny Del Negro told the Los Angeles Daily News. "There's no timetable. Maybe in a week, I'm not sure what it's going to be right now. I know he's not playing (against Oklahoma City). He had an MRI last week, when he (hurt) it."
Del Negro added that Paul will get some X-rays "to double-check some things" and therapy. "It's just sore," Del Negro told the newspaper. "It wasn't made worse. It's a pain-tolerance thing. It's a bone bruise on your kneecap. You have to be able to run and move and cut and jump and do things. It's going to be sore for a while. He's got to work through it."
Bledsoe started Tuesday but struggled with his shot, hitting just 5-of-16 shots for 12 points. The third-year guard out of Kentucky added two rebounds, four assists, a steal and two blocks in 35 minutes.
Bledsoe is worth a stash if you have the roster space, and should be in all lineups when Paul sits.
