NBA.com's David Aldridge reported that the Hawks are listening to offers but undecided on whether to ship him out of the ATL. For his part, Smith "is prepared to move on," Aldridge wrote. So J-Smoove's situation could be resolved soon. UPDATE: ESPN's Chris Broussard reports that there's a 60 percent chance that Smith gets moved, and Brooklyn is interested.
Atlanta and Smith haven't discussed a five-year deal, which the franchise can offer him in the summer. And they may not. If Smith walks in free agency, the team will have $40 million to offer free agents such as Dwight Howard and Chris Paul.
