David Lee's ankle was "purple" and "popped and cracked like Bubble Wrap" after the Warriors' win Saturday over the New Orleans Hornets, the SF Gate reported.
That doesn't sound like a guy who should be playing basketball Monday against the Los Angeles Clippers, but Lee has other plans: "You know I'm not missing that game." UPDATE: Lee is a game-time decision.
So if Lee really is a go for Monday, he'll only have missed one game with an ankle sprain. Keep an eye out on the situation before the 3 p.m. CST tip.
In other bad-ankle news, Stephen Curry's ankle is -- surprise -- not 100 percent. But he's going to keep playing and says his ankle feels "stable."
"I still have a little way to get better, fully, but I can't do myself any damage," Curry told the SF Gate. "It's a different kind of feeling than I've had before after I've sprained it. It's not like I'm going to go out there and make it be a nagging thing. I can still heal it while I'm playing. The doctors all agree on that and the trainers."
Play 'em if you've got 'em in this four-game week for the Warriors.
